If you had to go on a two-week vacation with any celebrity, who would you pick as your traveling companion and where would you go?
The possibilities are endless. I want to go to New Zealand and Australia. Do I pick someone who knows their way around both places? If I do, then I would choose from the following:
- Erik Thomson - born in Scotland, raised in New Zealand, and currently living in Australia. Perfect! :)
- Karl Urban
- Ryan Gosling
- William Gregory Lee

Do you believe in ghosts? If so, have you ever seen one?
Yes and maybe. :)
How did you create your username for VOX? What influenced your decision?

"Kiari" has been my online name for over a decade now and when Vox opened up, I couldn't resist trying Kiari. She's actually a character in my yet unwritten sci-fi epic. :)
Who do you want to be caught under the mistletoe with this holiday season?

I think I'm only really allowed to kiss the hubby. ;)
What was your major or field of study in college? Did you wind up working in that field or using that degree? If not, what field have you wound up in?

I have a bachelor's degree in English. I do believe that the degree has helped me in my everyday life (I love to write), but my work does not utilize the degree in the usual sense. I've also worked in law enforcement (as civilian staff). Joy. ;) I've toyed with going back to school to get my master's degree, but then that would mean I would have to embark on a career as opposed to just having a job.

Being behind the wheel while driving over a bridge. I don't know why.
If you could perform alongside any artist (actor, dancer, musician, etc.), who would it be, and what would you perform?

Harry Connick Jr. :) Of course, I'd have to be either a) a good singer or b) a good musician. But I think a duet would be nice. A song with Harry Connick Jr. Yes, that would just do it for me. :)
For a full sit-down dinner with several guests, would you rather be the one cooking or do you prefer to just show up and eat?
Since I don't really know how to cook, it's probably just better for me to be the guest. :)
Ringtones: What's yours and how often do you change it?
Submitted by enrico.
If my husband is calling, the ringtone is "Amazing" by Emma Bunton. If it's my sister, it's "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire. I've been known to use "Bring on the Men" and any number of soulDecision bits as ringtones, but my current one is a George Strait song, "Cowboys Like Us." I think with the upcoming Christmas season coming up, I'm going to change to "Christmas Dreaming" by Harry Connick Jr. :)
